‘Trading Standards Approved’ is the accreditation that businesses can achieve by being vetted by Trading Standards Professionals and undergoing a check by at least one Trading Standards Service.

In addition, businesses must have satisfied the requirements of the approved code, established by the Local Authority Assured Trader Scheme Network and have committed to treat their customers fairly.
